What is a blog?

A blog (derived from the words ?web? and ?log?) is a website where entries are written in a chronological order and commonly displayed in the reverse with the last entry on top. The term ?Blog? can also be used to refer to maintaining or adding content to a blog.

Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject such as tech gear and gizmos. Some blogs function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. Blogging is more than just putting your thoughts on the web. It's about connecting with new people and hearing from people who either agree or disagree with your opinion. Anyone from anywhere can offer feedback on your posts. You can choose whether or not you want to allow comments. You can also delete comments you don't like.
